Rainy Morning Harvest

The forecast is for another rainy day, so I tried to get out to the kitchen garden to harvest what vegetables I could before it poured. I found the first of my squash, which is a variety that is supposed to be green on one end and yellow on the other – it kind of looks like that, a little... I also found some hot peppers and cucumbers. I’m thinking of making a small gluten-free goat cheese tart out of the zucchini and I have a recipe for cucumber-wasabi soup I’ve been wanting to try.
